ISSUE FOUR ILLUSTRATOR ANNOUNCED
It’s with the greatest pleasure that we can announce our guest illustrator for Issue Four (coming in November 2021) is London-based artist Peony Gent, whose work we have loved for a very long time! An Edinburgh College of Art alumnus, Peony will be working her magic responding to the written pieces, working closely with our brilliant designer Esther Clayton to bring colour and life to our pages. We couldn’t be more excited and we know lots of our readers will be too!
Peony is the fourth guest illustrator we’ve invited to work their magic on the magazine, joining the growing family of Extra Teeth artists Maria Stoian, David Lemm and Ryoko Tamura. Our illustrators are such an integral part of Extra Teeth, setting the tone and responding in their unique ways to the written pieces – the authors of which will be announced in the next few weeks…

Issue Four Guest Illustrator
PEONY GENT
Peony Gent is an illustrator, comics maker and poet. Her work is based in experimentation and a love of observational drawing, using a quick and loose hand to capture the essence of a subject. Her work aims to celebrate the purity and joy of everyday objects and experiences, both through storytelling and a stylised celebration of form. She is based in London, and originally from the Fens of Cambridgeshire.
