Have you been putting off your book because you’re waiting for the ‘perfect time’? Do you find yourself starting new projects and never finishing?
This is your sign to start. Getting It Done is a workshop for writers who are ready to make real progress on their manuscripts, no matter how busy life gets or how scary the blank page is. This class is designed for anyone who needs practical strategies for getting the work done and how to balance creative goals with work, family, or anything else.
This workshop offers practical strategies to help you build momentum and stay on track. You’ll learn how to:
• create a sustainable writing schedule that fits your life
• stay disciplined and protect your creative boundaries
• find (and build) the motivation to keep going
• follow a step-by-step process from draft zero to final edits
• navigate the querying process and understand what to expect
• overcome the fear of rejection and confidently share your work
To be held in-person at Glasgow’s Mount Florida Books, April 22nd, 7-8:30pm
